His Grace Bishop Boulos Enthroned for the Diocese of Ottawa, Montreal and Eastern Canada
On August 20, His Grace Bishop Boulos was enthroned as the bishop of the diocese of Ottawa, Montreal, and Eastern Canada. Though the church in Canada has been flourishing since 1967, a bishop had not been ordained for the region until now.
In an interview with Nader Barsoum for the West Island Blog, His Grace stated that, “…a Bishop’s role is to see from above his congregation, his children and to guide them the right way with the church.” His Grace Bishop Boulos has already identified two priorities for the diocese: supporting the youth’s preservation of Coptic traditions and offering greater support and services for families.
May God bless the diocese of Ottawa, Montreal, and Eastern Canada under HIs Grace’s pastoral care. Read more regarding about the ordination and enthronement via the press release, accessible here.
